Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will provide support to the Talent Acquisition Team in the full recruitment lifecycle process. The qualified candidate will work with the TA Business Partners and TA Managers to ensure our goals are being met. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the full lifecycle recruiting efforts for entry level and high-volume positions job posting through onboarding. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • They will be involved in the negotiations process when the candidates’ counteroffer or items that are outside the normal range.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Hiring Managers, 3rd party vendors, as well as local colleges and organizations to build a network of current and future recruitment resources.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. They are responsible for identifying and prioritizing candidates from large pools of applicants (100+ ) based on their knowledge and experiences of the positions they are recruiting for to put forth a slate of candidates (5-10). Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Works to improve overall TA team recruitment processes. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Provides support to TA team including special projects and any ad-hoc requests.
  • Supports TABPs in educating new managers on overall TA process. Plays an integral role in training and onboarding of new TA Teammates.
  • Own the screen, interview and offer process for select positions/locations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • The person in this role must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity to articulate and execute ideas to completion.
  • They should be able to independently own and manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for both non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Will consult with hiring managers to develop and execute compelling recruitment strategies and tactics to source, screen and select a highly talented and diverse workforce in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
  • The Talent Acquisition Recruiter shall utilize the latest web-based knowledge, recruiting channels and social media platforms to source candidates.
  • Additional responsibility includes auditing job postings, and documentation to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • They will also have management oversight relating to 3rd party recruiting partner relationships.
  • This role will have direct impact on hiring decisions made across the company which will support our business leader’s ability to achieve their goals.
  • The individual will be responsible for reporting metrics to hiring managers to illustrate applicant activity within related job searches.
  • They will conduct analytical assessments to determine market trends and adverse impact analysis.
  • The TA Recruiter will act as the point of contact for hiring managers when TABPs are out for personal time or on leave.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) or knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Human Resources or related field
