Job Overview

The Sr Manager Market Unit Operations is responsible for meeting and exceeding business goals and consistently meeting all financial and operational key performance indicators within a Market Unit. The main emphasis is on enhancing operational efficiency, eliminating waste, achieving cost savings, and improving metrics by collaborating with and influencing leaders. Furthermore, the MUOPs team should prioritize coaching, training, and developing field teams to improve their acumen and drive metric enhancement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies areas for operational efficiency and cost improvements through studying trends and delivery metrics on percentage of product delivered, percentage of customers served, delivery frequency, number of off-schedule deliveries and other cost driving metrics; develops plans for improvement, in order to reduce waste, increase cost savings and to increase operating efficiencies.
  • Conducts meetings with Market Unit leaders in order to create and define actions plans through identifying metric-based trends centered around deliveries and service agreements that are not meeting established goals.
  • Manages the work for the defined actions plans through providing coaching and training to leaders and follows up on go-forward metrics, reporting on the success of the plan and through suggesting performance improvement opportunities.
  • Leads company-sponsored initiatives that could span across multiple Market Units or the entire company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • One to up to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree focus in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain
