Job Description
The Technician – Lead ERC is responsible for assisting the Equipment Refurbishment Center (ERC) Supervisor and Technicians to achieve daily production goals and assigned tasks and backfilling any position in case of sickness, vacation, or other reasons.
What your day will look like:
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
- Actively trains and directs employees
- Operates efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety, quality, and housekeeping
- Advises employees procedures and needs of equipment
- Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; 24 to 36 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Coca-Cola One North America (CONA) knowledge
- Warehouse Management knowledge
- Customer Asset Management (CAM) Equipment knowledge
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively lead, plan and organize
- Repeated standing and walking
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., and exposure to noise
