Job Description

The Analyst - Operational Excellence is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, implementing, supporting, and controlling business processes for all manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and inventory processes in both the production centers and the sales centers.

What your day will look like:

  • Monitor current processes, analyze the logistical movement of goods through the Warehouse Operations System and integrated production functions, identify and analyze process gaps, develop process improvements to warehouse and production operations
  • Engage daily with facility leadership and the local operations to better troubleshoot and provide informed advice and analysis that can drive improvement in our operations
  • Investigate problems, determine root causes, evaluate, recommend solutions, and implement changes at other warehouse and production locations
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals
  • Develop standard operating procedures, training manuals and other documentation for internal use
  • Develop and distribute periodic performance reports to Supply Chain Team
  • Work cross-functionally across process areas to understand system capabilities and process limitations both within and outside of the department
  • Ensure IT processes, third party vendor processes and business processes are aligned to support the business objectives and strategic goals of the supply chain organization overall
  • Act as dedicated UNITED resource for all Coke One North America (CONA) incident resolution and solution development for Production Execution and Warehouse Management

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Ability to demonstrate independence, analytical skills, and strategic thinking
  • Effective communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SAP experience required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUP and working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Repeated sitting, standing, walking, and keying
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical, planning, organizing, problem solving, strategical thinking, technical, and communication skills
