General Purpose

The Director of Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) is responsible for driving the Inclusion & Diversity strategy and efforts for Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB) in line with our Cultural Principles, developing, implementing and executing a comprehensive I&D plan focused on achieving and retaining higher levels of diversity representation, partnering with leaders to create and maintain an inclusive, diverse and engaged culture.. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of D&I will partner at all levels across the company to align efforts, lead initiatives, and embed ideas in processes, policies and programs. Will develop, build, implement, and programs that create a common language around Inclusion and Diversity and facilitate dialogue amongst the employee population. This role will also measure progress in maturing our Inclusion & Diversity goals. Must be willing to travel 30-50% of the time. 

Duties and Responsibilities

I&D Strategy

  • Promote and/or develop high‐level strategies and plans to foster broader and deeper levels of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the company and in all parts of the organization.
  • Develop action plans that achieve diversity and inclusion goals which are aligned with priorities based on associate feedback and strategic business goals.


  • Provide I&D expertise in collaboration with Human Resources on policies, processes, programs and initiatives and to ensure I&D practices that are relevant and meaningful to our associates and our business are embedded in all elements of our employee lifecycle - talent acquisition, onboarding, development, employee relations, engagement, well-being, communication, and compensation & benefits
  • Inspire and empower leaders to develop and drive DEI strategies within their business and departments, providing coaching and guidance
  • Scale, organize, promote and moderate company-wide programming and events that educate and create community around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across CCSWB. This includes leading post-event retrospectives, examining the efficacy of outreach events based on ROI metrics and progress
  • Develop I&D objectives, KPIs, metrics dashboard and establish a regular cadence for reporting progress, best practices, and lessons learned. Provide on-going analytics and reporting in partnership with Human Resources to measure the effectiveness of Diversity and Inclusion practices and impact on business results
  • Manage multiple projects, budget and resources
  • Function as a business ambassador demonstrating confidence, business acumen, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills to represent the CCSWB in the communities we have business, in the country, and within Arca Continental. 

Internal Business Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships company-wide to align staff diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and efforts, share leading practices, and ensure progress against established goals
  • Partner with the Talent Team to lead diversity education programs and services, including creating and delivering customized training programs across the company to integrate Inclusion and Diversity principles into the leadership curriculum 
  • Work along with Talent Acquisition to diversify talent pipelines and to collaborate with external industry partners as necessary to strengthen talent pools
  • Create and implement, partnering with HR and PAC, communications strategies and content management for training, campaigns, and web resources to support I&D initiatives on various platforms
  • Partner with areas such as Sales, Commercial, Procurement, to link processes with the I&D agenda. 

External Business Partnerships

  • Identify, develop and foster relationships with industry thought leaders, consultants and partners to apply best practices and help drive an inclusive culture
  • Represent CCSWB on bottler committees/work groups/official channels in I&D-related matters


  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of prior in-depth relevant professional experience with at least 5 years of experience as a diversity and inclusion practitioner in a complex organization, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Significant experience working productively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and the ability to discern how marginalized populations may have differing needs
  • Ability to establish credibility and effective working relationships across a complex, decentralized, diverse, and hierarchical institution
  • Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable business decisions and execution plans
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Excellent written/verbal presentation and listening skills, and the ability to prepare clear, concise, sensitively written materials and to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. 
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing change efforts. 
  • Strong acumen with diversity concepts and programs
  • Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and assess for outcomes and impact. 
  • Must be willing to travel 30-50% of the time.
