IT Solution Architect-OTC Planning

General Purpose

This role has responsibility for translating business requirements into comprehensive integrated solution designs. This also includes working closely with the CONA organization for solution development, solution configuration, unit testing, integration testing, production stabilization, and other support teams for turn-over, and level 3 operations support as needed. This role will also require collaborating with the CokeOne North America (CONA) organization to understand alignment opportunities with the strategic CONA roadmap. All of these activities need to be performed within the governance and controls framework of the CCSWB IT Software Development Lifecycle methodology, and deliver the expected value by driving business productivity and growth of the IT solutions in this area of responsibility.
This leader must partner with their business counterparts in CCSWB to influence direction and balance challenging trade-offs between scope, time, and budget. This role requires significant experience in delivering the leveraged use of technology, and highly developed communication skills to present to and influence internal IT and business partners.
The incumbent must have the ability to manage multiple process and solutions development initiatives within their functional/technical area(s).
This role will have the ability to create, champion, and drive the development and deployment of new architecture solutions, services and technologies that align with agreed guiding principles, strategy, and destination architecture.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

Solution design and delivery:

• Anticipates obstacles and objectives and proactively develops options to solve problems, while effectively managing conflict and risk.
• Develops productive working relationships with client area, cross-functional teams and/or groups
• Drives results, influences others and works across all areas of the Company as necessary.
• Provide cross-functional review and fit/gap assessment of all requirements, ensuring alignment of Architecture solutions across all process/domain areas
• Design solutions that ensure most sustainable, flexible and cost appropriate solutions & technology platforms
• Partner with project teams (shared accountability) on all Architecture related processes, activities and deliverables
• Engage additional architects (Security, Network, DB, etc.) as appropriate and lead team through resolution of architectural issues
• Execute and shepherd project teams through the architecture governance process. 
• Integrate into project teams within the functional area, being proactive in understanding the overall business strategy, plans, and upcoming projects
• Keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends relevant to process/domain areas identifying opportunities for creating reusable enterprise services
• Identify strategic applications & platforms as new solution capabilities are introduced guiding solution options and Key IT and Business stakeholder decision making to minimize divergence from destination architecture
• Provide solutions technical guidance for new application design projects.  Work with client engagement and business teams to conceptualize a new application project and recommend technical resources and strategies for the project.

Client Relationship Management:

• Engages with Business counterparts in order to remain informed on business objectives and priorities.
• May be expected to deliver programs/projects that cross functional client areas and have more than one business sponsor, representing different business functions.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in the solutions and capabilities for area(s) of responsibility.
• Provides subject matter expert input into the Development of a multi-year IT Roadmap for area(s) of responsibility.
• Maintains positive and trusted working relationships with all business and internal stakeholders.

Solutions Support:

• Provides level 2 support for all CONA and non-CONA applications within functional area.
• Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the best practice use of IT solutions.
• Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
• Ecommerce platforms support and design – B2B and D2C 
• Sales Force Automation (SFA) – Support and design.
• SAP OTC – IOM ( Integrated Order Management Support and Design.  

Subject Matter Expertise:

• Maintains influential knowledge of industry trends / innovations in strategic areas of importance.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related business process area required
• IT Related Masters degree preferred
• SAP Certification SD preferred
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in SAP SD – OTC roles as technical and functional role, preferably in an SAP ECC / S4HANA.  
• Experience in Enterprise Integration, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Mobility, Service Oriented Architecture, and Innovative Solutions.
• Preferred experience in setting technical direction. A recognized expert in technology implementation, planning and complex system integration, with experience in communicating strategy to business and industry.  
• A track record of delivering strategic solutions in the areas of Supply Chain and Procurement.
• Preferred experience with SalesForce, Enterprise Integration, Service Oriented Architecture, Business to Business Communications, Mobile Technologies, Cloud Computing, and Innovative Solutions.
