IT Solution Architect - BI / Advanced Analytics

General Purpose

The IT Solution Architect –BI / Advanced Analytics has responsibility to coordinate with customers and business analysts to determine business data reporting and analysis requirements. Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business report generation to internal and external customers for business decision making. Performs design, develop, change management, training and testing activities as required. Support Database Administrators and Developers to build data warehousing systems for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.  Assist in data administration, modeling, and integration activities in data warehouse systems.  Implement business intelligence solutions to achieve data reporting and analysis goals.  Support the development of business intelligence standards to meet business goals. Consults on technology changes that will impact work process, recommending and taking corrective/preventive actions. Facilitate the establishment of standards and best practices.

This role has responsibility for translating business requirements into comprehensive integrated solution designs. This also includes working closely with the CONA organization for solution development, solution configuration, unit testing, integration testing, production stabilization, and other support teams for turn-over, and level 3 operations support as needed. This role will also require collaborating with the CokeOne North America (CONA) organization to understand alignment opportunities with the strategic CONA roadmap. All of these activities need to be performed within the governance and controls framework of the CCSWB IT Software Development Lifecycle methodology and deliver the expected value by driving business productivity and growth of the IT solutions in this area of responsibility.

This leader must partner with their business counterparts in CCSWB to influence direction and balance challenging trade-offs between scope, time, and budget. This role requires significant experience in delivering the leveraged use of technology, and highly developed communication skills to present to and influence internal IT and business partners.
The incumbent must have the ability to manage multiple process and solutions development initiatives within their functional/technical area(s).
This role will have the ability to create, champion, and drive the development and deployment of new architecture solutions, services and technologies that align with agreed guiding principles, strategy, and destination architecture.

Duties and Responsibilities

Solution design and delivery:

• Translate complex Business reporting and analytics requirements into functional and technical specifications to design, develop, test and implement high performing reporting and analytics capabilities. Includes cross-functional review and fit/gap assessment of all requirements, ensuring alignment of architecture solutions across all process/domain areas.
• Perform dataflow, system and data analysis to deliver business value and differentiating competitive advantage of data in BI applications.
• Analyze and manage CONA releases related to BI / Data warehousing and raise defects, track progress in testing and ensure Business Continuity. Works with CONA Team in defining user requirements, prepare detail specifications, coordinating system-wide testing updates on CONA SAP new releases.
• Recommend enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence / Advanced Analytics capabilities.
• Contribute to data analysis, design and development of new and ongoing business intelligence (BI) projects involving complex EDW structures OR on OLTP systems.
• Monitor ETL processes, system audits, dashboard reporting and presentation layer functioning and performance
• Maintain and ensure that documentation, deliverables, and governance follow the CCSWB PMO standard architecture management process and delivers expected results.

Client Relationship Management:

• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to understand and apply changes/modifications to deliver maximum business benefit for reporting / data warehousing capabilities.
• Engages with Business counterparts in order to remain informed on business objectives and priorities.
• May be expected to deliver programs/projects that cross functional client areas and have more than one business sponsor, representing different business functions.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in the solutions and capabilities for area(s) of responsibility.
• Provides subject matter expert input into the Development of a multi-year IT Roadmap for area(s) of responsibility.
• Maintains positive and trusted working relationships with all business and internal stakeholders.

Solutions Support:

• Provides Level 3 application support.  Respond and resolve business tickets in a timely manner to meet established standards and SLA's and partner with third party support services to escalate tickets as required
• Coordinate with the business units to identify new data requirements, analysis strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
• Assist pro-actively in resolution of issues as found.
• Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the best practice use of IT solutions.
• Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance.

Subject Matter Expertise: Maintains influential knowledge of industry trends / innovations in strategic areas of importance.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related business process area required
• IT Related Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and database administration
• Minimum of 2+ years hands on experience in Snowflake data modeling
• Minimum of 2+ years hands on experience in Azure Data Factory or similar 
• Preferred experience with Power Automate (Robotics Process Automation)
• ETL tools
• Preferred experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or SQL servers and databases
• Preferred experience in Advanced Analytics
• Preferred experience with SAP, Enterprise Integration, Service Oriented Architecture, Business to Business Communications, Mobile Technologies, Cloud Computing, and Innovative Solutions.
