IT Analyst - Project Manager

General Purpose

The IT Project Manager Analyst is accountable and responsible for managing and delivering IT projects on-time and within budget and scope to meet all Business requirements at an acceptable level of quality while applying existing internal standards and industry best practices on all assigned projects. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying and facilitating the establishment of new standards and/or best practices as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all IT projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget at an acceptable level of quality
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Determining required resource availability and allocation needed to deliver on-time and within budget
  • Developing detailed project plans to track progress
  • Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Reporting issues to management as needed
  • Performing risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create comprehensive project documentation
  • Developing and employing software testing strategies including the appropriate scoping of new functionality testing and regression testing coverage, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure no critical defects are experienced in production
  • Creating comprehensive project management dashboards to communicate and support the detailed tracking and status of projects
  • Auditing projects as required to report on compliance of projects within agreed SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and AC IT standards
     

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Required: BA/BS
  • Desirable: MA/MS
  • Desirable: PMP Certification / Computer Science / Computer Information Systems

Experience: 

  • Minimum of four years project management experience in delivering technology projects required
  • Soft drink industry or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
