POSITION AT A GLANCE:
- Pay- $21.32/hr + shift differential ($.35 for 2nd shift, $.40 for 3rd shift)
- Scheduled Raises: to increase your rate to $26.65/hr by the end of your first year!
- Schedule- FT Role that would cover vacancies as needed. Must be available to work all shifts as will need to jump between shifts. When not covering vacations or role vacancies, will be working 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday 10 PM - 6:30 AM.
- Location- East Hartford, CT

Preferred experience:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Associate's degree in science related field, food science highly preferred
- Production/manufacturing or relevant lab technician experience

Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative tests of raw materials and finished goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods throughout all stages of the production process
- Analyze syrup, water and/or beverage attributes
- Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters and coders to insure proper operations
- Conduct quality inspections and audits of packaging and isolate product that does not meet standards
- Test CO2 and raw materials prior to production process
- Maintain highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness to prevent microbial contamination
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in production/manufacturing or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
