Electronic Controls & Instrumentation Tech - 4th shift

  • Pay- $26 - $30 per hour, flexible based on experience, + 10% shift premium add to straight time pay rate for Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Schedule- Saturday, Sunday, Monday, typically 12 hour days, 5AM-5:30PM. Work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours.
    • Overtime opportunities available - Overtime after 36 hours. 
  • Holidays and Vacation Schedule: 

    • You will not be scheduled for weekend work the weekend before & after your vacation. Limits some weekends and balances work/life.
    • Holiday weeks you will have option to have the weekends off and work weekday hours.
  • Location-   East Hartford, CT 
  • Preferred Experience:

    • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required, food/beverage manufacturing experience or similar preferred
    • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
    • Beverage manufacturing experience highly preferred

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. In this role, the Maintenance Mechanic must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned
  • Overhaul and install new equipment
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate supply
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
  • Maintain clean and safe work area at all times
  • Protect the integrity and quality of products at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures


Job Requirements


  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
  • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
