Full-Time Stationary Engineer- Weekend Shift

Pay & Hours- $34.67/hour & Friday-Sunday (6am-6pm)
About This Opportunity
The Stationary Engineer plays an important role in a Coke Canada facility by overseeing and executing essential machine and facility maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal equipment functionality. Their responsibilities contribute to the smooth operation of machinery, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity within the facility. Duties will also include start-up and operation of the production equipment (i.e. Ammonia system, air compressors, boilers, water treatment system, etc.) Performing water treatment system water tests and monitoring system operation and taking corrective action will also be required.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure support equipment is maintained to a level that will allow production cases required by daily schedule.
- Start-up and operation of the production support equipment (i.e. Ammonia System, air compressors, boilers, Water Treatment System, etc.).
- Support and complies with Food Safety, Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety regulations.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
- Keep all equipment and work areas clean.
- Follow-up with Maintenance Planner as required on parts ordered to ensure availability when needed.
- Check assigned area for problems and determine any problems so that they can be addressed through in house or external maintenance resources.
- Instruct other technicians as requested in own area of expertise.
- Comply with all Company Safety Policies and Standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or production facility environment.
- Stationary Engineer Class 3 required OR Refrigeration Class B license with Stationary Engineer Class 4.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate to people at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work with others cooperatively, safely and in a structured and team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction, with attention to detail, while still being able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
