About This Opportunity

In this role, you will report to the Director of Supply Chain Finance and be responsible for leading the manufacturing pillar within the Supply Chain Finance team. This includes managing the P&L for three co-packers and our five plants. The role works closely with our Senior Director of Manufacturing, Plant Managers and the Director of Supply Chain Planning.      

Responsibilities

•    Manage a team of three Finance Specialists and oversee the P&L for total manufacturing through monthly financial close, quarterly rolling estimate and annual budgeting processes
•    Hold the business accountable to their P&L results through monthly financial reviews/quarterly rolling estimates by proactively analyzing key monthly trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending plans and contingencies to support the business’ delivery against annual financial targets
•    Understand the key performance metrics in Supply Chain and suggest improvements with tie-in to financial P&L
•    Manage the full process of the annual budget for manufacturing by providing targets and challenging the business to achieve stretch goals
•    Create visibility into key spend categories (i.e., yield, labour, fixed expenses) by providing  direction on areas of opportunity/how to reallocate resources
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting 
•    7+ years of experience in supply chain finance, financial analysis, accounting and/or relevant experience 
•    Demonstrated ability to manage time and projects effectively and with a sense of urgency
•    Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement and implement change. 
•    Demonstrate ability to understand standard costing and absorption 
•    Naturally proactive, can anticipate the needs of the business and provide support accordingly.
•    Commitment to ensuring integrity in financial results and adherence to ethical business practices
•    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power BI & PowerPoint.
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with exceptional written and verbal communication skills required to explain financial performance through storytelling. 
•    MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent designation is an asset
•    Anaplan experience is an asset
