Finance Business Officer, Transportation Supply Chain

About This Opportunity

In this role, you will act as a key business partner to multiple stakeholders including the transportation department, senior finance management as well as the planning and deployment teams.

Responsibilities

•    Perform month-end closing activities (journal entries, accrual analysis) for Supply Chain Transportation & review P&L results
•    Prepare rolling estimates/forecasts of operating expenses
•    Annual Budgeting of Transportation P&L (labour, common carriers, overheads, etc)
•    Automate existing processes to drive innovation and efficiency
•    Prepare Key Business Indicators (KBI) and analysis for action by Senior Management
•    Collaborate closely with Supply Chain operational partners to collectively drive business results
•    Analysis and presentations to senior management and stakeholders
•    Analyze financial results for productivity savings initiatives and continuous improvement 
•    Identify, lead and execute process improvement initiatives, including enhancements to Anaplan modules (Enterprise Resource Planning software, used for interactive planning)
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is an asset.
•    2+ years’ experience in accounting, financial analysis, and costing.
•    Excellent working knowledge of advanced Excel functionality.  Knowledge of Access is an asset. 
•    Demonstrated experience in using SAP.  Anaplan software is an asset.
