The bilingual Communications Coordinator will report into the Manager of Internal Communications, providing support for Coke Canada’s Communications team. This role will oversee internal and external channel postings, community & social media management, and channel monitoring and metrics. In addition to managing and maintaining the PAC team’s integrated communications calendar, the Communications Coordinator will provide content creation support (written, audio, visual, & video) aligned to corporate communications needs and will also coordinate Senior Leader meetings, quarterly Town Halls, and company’s annual Leadership Meeting.
Responsibilities
- PAC Integrated Calendar - oversee the development, maintenance, and team's adherence to an annual integrated communications calendar, including execution and publishing of content on internal and external corporate communications channels and platforms
- Support Supervisor and Manager of Communications with the creation of content, including managing amplifications and responses to internal and external postings
- Social media and internal channel management – monitoring, tracking, posting (via organization’s corporate LinkedIn channel/Hootsuite and Yammer/Viva Engage tracking/monitoring tools, and monitoring PAC controlled corporate email boxes)
- Updates to company intranet (mySource) and external website (cokecanada.com), as necessary
- Team calendar – manage, maintain, and ensure execution of annual public affairs activity calendar with PAC team and key internal partners (HR, Safety, IT, Commercial, and Supply Chain)
- Internal and external statistics and analytics - compile and present relevant statistics to support team’s IPOs on a quarterly basis
- General media monitoring tracking
- Arranging, administering, and hosting virtual and in-person meetings with senior leaders and executives
- Coordination support for Town Halls and annual leader conference
- PAC team event coordination – schedule and manage team meetings, birthdays, celebrations, and activities
- Assistance on general PAC team administration, as necessary
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and French.
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma, with a focus on communications or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Tools (including Teams, Yammer/Viva Engage, SharePoint, Stream)
- Experience using marketing-based email tools (e.g. MailChimp, IBM SilverPop/Watson), public social media tools (LinkedIn), and online video content systems (e.g. Vimeo, YouTube, digital signage system)
- Proven work experience to maintain and update internet & intranet applications (knowledge of basic HTML an asset, but not required)
- Excellent verbal & strategic written comms skills
- Capable of communicating with employees across all levels of the organization
- Savvy about current and emerging social media channels and trends
- Someone informed of what is happening in the news
- Self-starter that can work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organization and time management skills - has the ability to maintain strict self-time management
- Ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget
- Is accountable for their actions
