About This Opportunity
As a Route Process Administrator you will perform pre-settlement and/or cashiering duties in a Distribution Center in accordance with standard procedures, including driver over/short and post-delivery claim research and resolution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct e-deposits following the mail schedule and submit all DCLs with explained variances to CIT.
- Report cheque or deposit discrepancies to the distribution team.
- Review end-of-day driver paperwork/customer proof of deliveries and update the tracker for missing PODs and case quantity variances.
- Monitor DSD shipments for out-of-tolerance issues.
- Submit same-day corrections to settle shipments as needed.
- Follow up with distribution on unsettled shipments.
- Educate distribution on driver errors and prevention strategies; provide training materials when available.
- Coordinate with the DC to resolve non-compliant PODs and prepare paperwork for the imaging team.
- Investigate, follow up on, and correct delivery case variances.
- Provide vacation relief by filling in for various roles.
- Assist CIT in validating and approving cheque requisitions for cash customers.
- Address post-delivery customer claims, deductions, and escalated issues.
- Receive and verify full-service bags; Count full-service cash as needed and finalize driver handheld
- Prevent revenue loss
- Monitor and rectify pallet errors.
- Resolve HQ reports and inquiries, including missing/invalid POs, LCL product shortages, Operational deductions, and sales center chargebacks.
Qualifications
- Understanding/prior experience in settlement preferred
- Ability to travel when deemed necessary
- Strong communication skills, oral and written, required
- Ability to handle responsibilities and work both independently and as a team member
- Strong analytical skills / highly organized
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
- PC Skills – MS Excel, MS Access
