About This Opportunity

 

The Successful candidate will leverage his/her knowledge to improve business processes or to develop new capabilities in reporting and analysis thereby insuring a world class experience for our customers. In addition, this role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate their data into high quality, accurate business insights. 

 

The Equipment Analyst will have a functional user knowledge of SAP. They will collaborate with IT, Service Dispatch and Planning and Make Ready Centers. The individual will also be required to develop, create, manage and maintain data in Microsoft Access.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for providing, reporting solutions, analytics and SAP management for the Equipment Servce Department.
  • Play a strong analytical role in ensuring the quality of SAP Business Intelligence data as well as supplying analytical support to the entire Equipment Service Group. In addition, the role will design, create and maintain standard quality reports for key service level agreements and operational metrics. 
  • Identify best practices and business process improvements, then develop, document and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures where needed.
  • Running and Identifying trends using SAP BI reports and ensuring all reporting schedules are met.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly review meetings in a presenter capacity to large groups
  • Focus on increasing knowledge on data quality management and influence how we support our internal and external clients using analytics.

Qualifications

 

  • Completion of bachelor’s University Degree or relevant Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years experience with data entry and management (experience in data mining i.e. relational databases and excel with skill in macro writing). 
  • 3+ years of experience working in an intense data hungry environment using SAP BI tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in supplying feedback on analytical findings, and presenting said finding to groups of stakeholders
  • Report Development: Knowledge of report writing tools and technologies i.e. Enterprise Data Warehouse or SAP HANA. Candidate will have the ability to use the tools and technologies to create, write and compile reports within SAP BI environment.
  • Robust knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access, as well as experience in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proven keyboarding skills, Constant 40+ Words Per Minute with Zero Errors
  • Bilingual (French, English) is also preferred yet not mandatory
