About This Opportunity
In this role, you will lead a team and act as a key advisor to the Director, Procurement & Raw Materials on all indirect procurement-related matters.
Responsibilities
• Act as the subject matter expert for our business stakeholders for contract renewals and proactively identifying new partnership opportunities.
• Leadership of the spend strategies & supplier management for corporate services
• Ensure purchasing systems and procedures are developed and implemented, applying appropriate procurement management tools, processes and controls in accordance with Coke Canada’s Procurement Policy and Code of Conduct.
• Ensure effective management of financial systems within Procurement, including budgeting and financial analysis of departmental and supply chain activities and costs, and the internal/external financial and procurement management audit processes.
• Review, audit and control compliance of procurement activities, highlighting key issues
• Ensure that procurement activities are aligned with Coke Canada’s Procurement Policy and procedures, including reporting to Coke Canada’s Finance team on procurement activities
• Influence change by leading transformative projects within the organization.
• Manage indirect supplier relationships, including the leadership of strategic routines to review budgets, forecasts, supply & performance constraints – including our customs & international trade space.
• Actively communicate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure awareness and alignment with all procurement initiatives, matters and financial impact opportunities
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Sourcing or Procurement role
• Successfully managed procurement processes, business management, financial planning, performance measurement and budgeting functions
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and suggest improvements to contracts, statements of work and other legal agreements
• Experience in project management and special projects
• Exposure to internal control systems in a multidivisional organization
• Strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills
• Procure-to-pay experience is an asset
